Plume
Help Cupid reunite the world with specialized arrows and prove that no matter the obstacle, true love will never die.
I designed user flows, interface systems, menus, and interactive prototypes.
Project Brief
Reuniting Love
Plume is a wholesome puzzle platformer where players take on the role of Cupid, using magical arrows to create pathways, charm enemies, and reunite lovers separated by the wicked Anteroom.

Exploration
Developing the Art Direction
To define the game's identity, we explored a range of visual styles and color palettes before refining the art direction into a cohesive and playful aesthetic.

Character Design
Designing Through Shape Language
The character silhouettes use rounded forms for the main character and NPCs to create a friendly, approachable feel, while sharper shapes define enemies.

Interaction Design
Designing Player Controls
The control UI was designed to provide clear guidance and intuitive interactions while maintaining a playful visual style consistent with the game’s world.
Project Snapshots
Final Experience
A collection of in-game moments showcasing the final visual style and interactions.

Takeaways
Beyond Traditional UX/UI
Unlike app and web design, game interfaces are deeply connected to gameplay, narrative, and world-building. I learned to think beyond individual screens and design cohesive systems that evolve with the player experience. This project was a rewarding experience that pushed me to explore a new side of UX/UI design and rethink how interfaces can shape immersive experiences!
